Read about some of the ideas that you can try if you want to find anyone in the world. Basically any person that is
a regular internet user is bound to leave a signature of their presence in at least one place on the web. It could
be anything really; like a news article, a classified ad, a discussion forum or anything that contains their name
that finds its way onto web pages.
At the same time the normal search is now able to pick up people from a few databases and online directories. By
the normal search I am referring to Googling someone. If you want to find anyone in the world this is the first
search that you should try. Where ever the name appears on the web the relevant page will be picked up and returned
as a result. Each result will consist of links directing you to where the name was picked up from.
You can follow the links and get more information where they lead. Some of these links point to social sites
like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Yes, the Googling someone now returns all these results for you and more. If
you want to find anyone in the world, Google them making sure that their name is inside quotes or you will end up a
very frustrated somebody.
The other thing you could do is trying searching places like www.mylife.com.
This was one of the places that brought about the idea of connecting people that are looking for each other
and bringing them to one place. Using MyLife.com you can find people and find out who is looking for you.
If you want to find anyone in the world, don't just search
for that person only. Search for people that might know them at the same time. This could friends, family or
relatives. You might be able to pick someone from this group of people who will then lead you to the person that
you want. Try a search on www.classmates.com as well and see what you
come up with.
