Looking for people on the internet can be quite exciting. Just the thought that you are able to locate someone by
clicking away at a few buttons is really something. One of the earliest and most common ways to look for someone
was to Google people, search for free using some of the services that Google offers and see whether you get a
result or not.
The way that this search is done has been refined over the years with a few minor adjustments here and there.
Now when you Google people, search for free, you know that you have access to more web pages than you had back
then. Information is constantly being uploaded onto the internet every minute and the person that you want might be
traceable using the Google simple search.
I am sure you are now quite familiar with how this search is done. That is the putting of the name in quotes so
that it is a defined search. The use of the + (plus) in to add other detail that should be searched along with the
name and the use of the - (minus) to exclude the results that you do not want to appear in your search. When you
Google people, search free in this manner it is called a wild card search. The wild cards being the data that you
want included or excluded from the search.
Another recent addition to the concept of Googling people is that of Google profiles. There has been so much
talk about what purpose these profiles are meant to serve. The answer being that you can now determine the
information which is displayed about you should someone ever Google you. So you can Google people,
search free using the profiles as well.
To search for Google profiles, you can do the simple name search as usual. Then you will note that at the bottom
of the page there will be people profiles matching the name you searched. The profiles that are displayed are for
those that have already created them on Google. If the person you are searching does not have a profile then you
have to sift through the list of dominating results.
