There are other more specific ways to locate a person on Google other than Googling them. Actually if done in the right manner using the right syntaxes, Googling is an effective and specific person search. This is just one of the ways among many others of how to use Google to find a person. This search is done directly from the search engine by having the name of the person that you are looking for enclosed I quotes when you search.

Google has come up with a list of various supporting services when it comes to people searches. The first service that you can use on Google to find a person is the Google phone directory. There is really not much to searching through this directory. Still on the home page, type in the word phonebook: then the name of the person that you are searching. If the person is there within the pages of the Google phonebook then you will get the results.

What this search will give you is normally a phone number and an address. The address will give some idea of the possible location of this person, which takes us to the net service that you can use on Google to find a person; Google maps. If you access the Google maps function and type in the address that you retrieved from the phone directory search you will see exactly where this location is.

This location will be displayed in the form of a map pin pointing where the address that you typed in is situated. So you see that maps are not restricted to looking up streets and confirming directions. If you want to get a general idea of how the place looks like exactly then you can access the Google earth function. This will give actual satellite imagery of the location. This is a summary of some of the services you can use in Google to find a person.
