Every place on the internet that offers people search services has access to some files or directories from which
people can be looked up in. If you look at most of the people search sites they have various records like census
records, electoral records and other similar records that can be used to look up people. It is the same with the
search engines. In the following paragraphs we will look at how to search people in Google.
The first people locator service that I will point you to inside Google is the phone directory. For many years
now the phone book has proved to be quite handy when searching for people. The electronic versions of this book are
even more suitable for tracing people. There are three ways of how to search people in Google from the phone
directory.
So as to avoid confusion with the numbers you can search through the business listings and the residential
listings separately. The exception would be if you are unsure whether the number you have is a business number or a
residential number. If you are going to be searching using the name only then you can also look through the entire
directory.
Lets us look at how to search for people in Google from the various phone directories. If you are interested in
searching through the entire phone book then type in phonebook: 'search criteria'. The search criteria in this case
being a phone number or the name. The same would apply if you want to search through the business listings or the
residential. For the business listing type in bphonebook: 'search criteria' and for the residential listings type
in rphonebook: 'search criteria'.
This is one way of how to search for
people in Google. There are other ways that people can searched using the services of the search engine. You
can find similar articles on people searches that I have written. You can read them too and they might be able to
