If you want to know how to profile search on Google then you can read through the following to find out how. In an
effort to give people some degree of control over the results that appear when they are Googled, Google introduced
the Google profiles concept. Using the application people are allowed to create their own profiles. What they put
in the profile and how much information they put in their profile is up to them.
So what should happen is that the next time you Google someone, at the bottom of the search results there should
be a profile or profiles. This depends on how many people are sharing the name that you searched and whether they
all have profiles. Where there are many profiles to display only the results of the top profiles will be shown.
That is one way you can profile search on Google.
One thing that you must know is that if someone has not yet created a profile, then it will not appear in the
search results. It is interesting to note that the Google search now returns results for some of the social
networks like Facebook and LinkedIn. These networks are also sources of people profile information.
However if you want to search for a particular profile on Google you can enter as a URL address the following;
www.google.com/profiles?=. After the equals sign then you can type in the name of the person whose profile you want
to view without leaving a space. This is also another way to profile search on Google. This search will give you a
list of all the profiles that match the name that you typed.
In some cases the list is long and in some cases it is a short list to go through. The good thing though is once
you are here you can profile search on Google for the profiles using the profile search box. So to search for a
different profile, this type simply type in the name of the person and search.
